Janece Birch has been teaching in this district since 1996 after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies and English from Minnesota State University in Moorhead. She also received a Masters Degree in Curriculum in from the Minnesota University in Mankato.  Before she joined District 241, Janece was a substitute teacher in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Janece is the assistant director for the Southwest play, the Equity leader, and the District Classroom Partnership Coordinator.
